Current Situation in Turkmenistan
Turkmenistan has not recorded any confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of December 7. As the media is highly controlled by the government, it is difficult to verify statistics. However, a number of suspected cases have been reported in the country throughout the various stages of the ongoing pandemic.

Borders are currently closed for international travelers.
Turkmenistan Airlines has extended the suspension of flights until December 31, 2020. This is likely to be further extended into 2021.
