Current Situation in Abkhazia
Abkhazia has recorded 5,442 cases of COVID-19 as of December 6, with the first case confirmed in April 2020. The vast majority of cases have arrived with travelers crossing the border with Russia. Restrictions are currently in place until January 12, 2021.
Borders are currently closed to foreign travelers.
Some movement restrictions remain in effect in Abkhazia.
